LOCAL: Coffee Memorial Blood Center has declared an emergency blood shortage and are asking donors of all blood types to donate. Our Blood Institute is especially in need of O-negative and B-negative blood types as the O-negative supply was down to just 65 units on Monday. Donations can be made daily at CMBC, 7500 Wallace Blvd., in Amarillo. Donors who give through tomorrow will be entered into a drawing to win two tickets to Monday’s World Cup match between Austria and Argentina in Arlington……Vendor registration is closed for this weekend’s 10th Annual DadFest. Events begin on Friday at 11:30 with a free lunch and kickoff celebration at the courthouse square. Juan was a rancher and is remembered as a man of hard work that also enjoyed being a jokester. He died on Friday……Funeral services for Jose Torres, age 62, are tomorrow at 2:00 at Iglesia Bautista Fundamental.
