LOCAL: Deaf Smith County Commissioners meet tomorrow morning at 9:00 for a 10-item agenda. They’ll work through formalities and look to approve several items relating to the establishment of the Deaf Smith County Property Assessed Clean Energy Program. The meeting is at the courthouse and is open to the public……Today is the final day to donate blood and be entered into a drawing for a trip giveaway to Washington D.C. Donors who give blood today at Coffee Memorial Blood Center will be entered into the drawing along with all donors who have given blood since June 1. The trip includes airfare, meals, accommodations and entry to fireworks festivities for four people……Funeral services for Lydia Montemayor Muñoz, age 89, are tomorrow at 4:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Lydia was a longtime Hereford resident who enjoyed music and dancing, and is remembered as a bold, spirited and outspoken woman. Visitation and viewing is prior to the service on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 at the funeral home. She died on Friday in Dimmitt……Several days of triple digit temps are on tap this week.
