LOCAL: Deaf Smith County Hospital District Board of Directors will meet in a regular session this afternoon at 5:30 at the Hereford Regional Medical Center Board Room. They’ll work through a 10-item agenda that includes a report on physician recruitment and hospital and clinical trends. Directors will also review data on a community health assessment. The meeting is open to the public……Bootleg Volunteer Fire Department and Dawn Volunteer Fire Department were recent recipients of $10,000 donations from The 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle. The organization benefited a number of Panhandle departments with the gifts……The San Jose Catholic Church will hold their annual Jamaica on Sunday in Hereford. The all-day event features live music, games and prizes for all ages. It runs from 11:00-9:00 at Dameron Park……Friday will feature another chance for severe thunderstorms across the area.
