LOCAL: HISD Board of Trustees meet in a regular session this evening for a 14-item agenda. They’ll work through several items relating to the upcoming school year including staff compensation, a CDL class agreement with Friona, Dimmitt and Hart ISDs, and renovations to the tennis courts and band practice field at Hereford High School. The meeting is at 6:00 at the Administration Building……Funeral services for Robert “Bob” Maddox, age 77, are tomorrow at 3:00 at First Methodist Church. Mr. Maddox was a longtime volunteer to organizations assisting stray animals in Hereford. He transported countless dogs throughout his life and opened his home to foster animals. Bob was a longtime Hereford resident who died on March 10……Graveside services are pending for Chris Hartley, age 70. Chris was a lifelong area resident and 1974 HHS graduate. She was a longtime LVN in Hereford and devoted much of her professional life to caring for others. She died on Sunday……KPAN recorded .05 inch of rain in downtown Hereford this morning.
