LOCAL: Early voting begins today at the Deaf Smith County Courthouse during regular business hours. There is no early voting tomorrow but voting will resume Wednesday-Friday from 8:00-5:00. Next week early voting resumes on Monday and Tuesday……The Hereford City Commission meets in a regular session this evening at 6:30 to work through a 12-item agenda. They’ll look at revising the employee policy with extended sick leave, appointments and re-appointments to the golf course and electrical examiners boards and will also meet in an executive session to discuss personnel matters. The meeting is at City Hall and is open to the public……Funeral services for Andres “Pelu” DeLaCruz, age 58, are tomorrow at 2:00 at San Jose Catholic Church. Viewing is today from 2:00-8:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Andres is remembered as a loving family man. He was a longtime Hereford resident who died on Tuesday in Hereford……The Lady Whitefaces fell to Randall in softball in the season finale Friday, 12-2. Bella Gaytan and Sonya Enriquez each had doubles in the loss. Hereford finishes the season with a 4-10 district record……The Herd lost a close one, 12-10, to the Randall Raiders. The Whitefaces are a game ahead of the Raiders in 3rd place at 8-4 in district play……KPAN recorded 32.8° low temps on Saturday and Sunday morning.
