LOCAL: Coach Adam Naron announced his resignation from HISD yesterday. Coach Naron came to Hereford in 2021 to take over the Athletic Director and Head Coach role of the varsity football team. In his five seasons, Coach Naron tallied a 23-30 overall record. He has accepted the Athletic Director and Head Coach position at Pflugerville Hendrickson……Herd Baseball beat Pampa on the road yesterday, 8-6. The improve to 6-3 in district play……The Lady Herd dropped a close one to Pampa, 5-4. Hereford falls to 2-9 in district play…… Funeral services for Keith Munnerlyn, age 94, are Friday at 10:00 at the Morehart Mortuary in Breckenridge, TX. Mr. Munnerlyn was a former Hereford resident and was an Assistant Principal and coach in Hereford. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and served in combat in the Korean War. He was awarded a Bronze Star with the Combat “V” for his service. He died on March 13……Funeral services for Kyle Lytal, age 61, are Saturday at 10:30 at Central Church of Christ. Kyle was a former Hereford resident and is remembered for his love of family, his kind heart and ability to find joy in life’s simple moments.
