LOCAL: Hereford City Commissioners are meeting in a regular session at 6:30 this evening at City Hall. They’ll work through a 10-item agenda that includes a budget amendment and report from the Hereford Economic Development Corporation. The meeting is open to the public……Canyon earned a playoff berth with a win over Hereford on Friday night, 41-0. The Herd could only find 121 yards on offense to Canyon’s 344. The Whitefaces are now out of post-season contention. Hereford falls to 1-3 in district and will face West Plains at home this week in the season finale……The Hereford Beautification Advisory Board meets tomorrow afternoon in a regular session for a 10-item agenda. They’ll hear a report on the Fiesta Down Main among the items to be discussed at the Hereford Civic Center……Tomorrow’s Election Day will feature hours of 7:00-7:00 at four voting locations in the city. Ballots may be cast at the courthouse, Deaf Smith County Extension Office, Hereford Civic Center and the Caviness Sportsplex. There are 17 statewide propositions along with the Hereford ISD VATRE……Texas Tech jumped to #9 in the country with a 43-20 win over Kansas State on Saturday. ESPN’s College GameDay will be in Lubbock this weekend for the matchup between the Red Raiders and #8 Brigham Young University……KPAN AM-FM will have live coverage of the Dallas Cowboys in Monday Night Football tonight.
