LOCAL: Old Man Winter is set to return to the area overnight with major winter precipitation chances and extreme cold in the mix through Sunday. Freezing rain and ice accumulation is possible tomorrow before the transition to snow is expected to occur when up to 8 inches is predicted to fall in the Hereford area by early Sunday morning. Wind chill readings will be down to -15° early Saturday morning with actual temps below the freezing mark Friday-Monday……Local Texas Farm Bureaus will hold their annual Ag Producers Summit tonight at 6:00 at the Civic Center. The annual event features a fish dinner and is free to producers in the area. It will feature a variety of topics covering outlooks on the upcoming ag production year……HISD is holding a meeting tonight for individuals interested in joining their facilities committee. The committee will play a crucial role in future facility upgrades in the district. It begins at 5:30 at the HISD Administration Building……Funeral services for Monica “Cookie” Moll-Garcia, age 48, are tomorrow at 10:00 at the Nazarene Family Church. Visitation is today from 5:00-8:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Cookie was a former lifelong Hereford resident and 1995 HHS grad. She died on Monday in Hart……The Hereford Food Pantry is open today from 12:00-3:00 at 900 North Lee.
