LOCAL: The 2026 Hereford Livestock Show saw one of the best crowds in years and a long list of FFA and 4-H competitors in the show ring. Grand and Reserve Champions were: Pig Show – Teal Francis and Isabella Rodriguez, Steer Show – Cooper Marsh and Cooper Marsh, Heifer Show – Addison Kahlich and Sadence Kahlich, Goat Show – Sam Detten and Ever Rodriguez, Lamb Show – Johan Grotegut and Josef Grotegut, Rabbit Show – Paige McVey and Nehemiah Jesko. This year’s show also featured a 4-H Food Show on Friday and Adda Flores took the Grand Champion spot and Isabella Olivarez took Reserve Champion……Graveside services for Raymond “Butch” Williams, age 84, are today at 2:00 at West Park Cemetery. Mr. Williams died on Thursday in Amarillo……Voter registration deadline is Monday, February 2nd, for the March primary election. Registration can be done online at votetexas.gov or at the county voter registrar. Additionally, most post offices, libraries and high schools have application packets. For mail in registrations they must be post-marked by February 2nd……Whiteface basketball teams are at home tonight taking on Dumas.
