LOCAL: Hereford High School senior, Kaylee Ritter, won the High All Around award at the 2026 Frozen Clays Classic Shoot in Las Cruces, NM, this past weekend. Kaylee placed 1st in Varsity Sporting Clays, 2nd in Doubles Trap and ATA Handicap and 3rd in Skeet……KPAN AM-FM will have live coverage of 4-4A basketball from Perryton tonight. The Lady Whitefaces and Rettes play first at 6:00 with the Whitefaces and Rangers to follow. Broadcast time is set for 5:50……The Hereford Food Pantry is in need of empty egg cartons and plastic grocery bags. The local food bank is open to accept donations each Tuesday and Wednesday morning from 9:00-12:00 at 900 North Lee……The 2026 Hereford Livestock Show will take place at the Deaf Smith County Bull Barn on Friday and Saturday, January 16th and 17th. The Rabbit show begins at 6:00 on Friday night with all other animals showed on Saturday beginning at 9:00……A cold front moves through the area tonight with cooler, near average, temps in its’ wake. Temps rebound Thursday before another front moves through setting up a near average day on Friday.
