LOCAL: The Whitefaces will face the West Plains Wolves in their season finale tonight at Whiteface Stadium. Hereford is 2-7 on the season and 1-3 in district play coming off a shutout loss to Canyon last week. West Plains brings a perfect district record and 8-1 season record into the game tonight and are ranked #4 in the state according to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. Kickoff is set for 7:00 and KPAN AM-FM will have live coverage……The Mighty Maroon Band will hold their supper at the HJH cafeteria prior to the game from 5:00-7:00. The hamburger dinner is $10 and tickets are available at the door……The Hereford Food Pantry is open from 12:00-3:00 today at 900 North Lee. SNAP recipients can bring proof of residence and paperwork showing the SNAP qualifications for food assistance at the Hereford Food Pantry. The pantry is also in need of empty egg cartons and those donations can be dropped off Tuesday or Wednesday mornings from 9:00-12:00……Funeral services for Catherine Cortez, age 91, are this morning at 10:00 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church……Funeral services for Veatrice “Sookie” Johnson, age 58, are Monday at 11:00 at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing and visitation is at 10:00 on Monday at Mendez and Mullins.
