LOCAL: Deaf Smith County Hospital District Board of Directors meet in a regular session this afternoon at 5:30 at HRMC. They’ll work through an 11-item agenda that includes formalities and a review of the dialysis policies and procedures for medical-surgical nursing and ICU. The meeting is open to the public for the exception of a tabbed executive session……Funeral services for RosaLinda “Rose” Ellis, age 66, are tomorrow at 2:00 at Good News Church. Viewing and visitation is today from 6:00-8:00 at the church. Rose was a longtime Hereford resident and was a homemaker. She died on Tuesday in Hereford……The Mighty Maroon Band heads to Abilene tomorrow and the community is encouraged to line a sendoff route beginning at 2:30. The band will leave from HHS and travel south on Avenue F, west on Park Avenue and then south on 25 Mile Avenue. The band will perform Saturday afternoon at 3:15 in the area marching contest at Shotwell Stadium… Severe weather chances exist tonight with large hail and damaging winds being the main hazards.
