LOCAL: A cold front will move through the area today and plunge our overnight temps to the mid-30s. KPAN recorded a 36° mark on Sunday morning in downtown Hereford and predictions are for tonight to be slightly colder. Near average temps will persist behind the front for much of the week……The Mighty Maroon Band punched their ticket to the area contest in Abilene this weekend with a stellar performance of Prisoners of Time at Dick Bivins Stadium on Saturday. The band will play at Shotwell Stadium this Saturday, October 25th…… Funeral services for David Fitzgerald, age 67, are Wednesday at 10:30 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is tomorrow from 4:00-6:00 at the funeral home. David worked at Holly Sugar for many years then went into the HVAC business until his retirement in 2017. He was a longtime Hereford resident who died on Saturday in Hereford……The Lady Herd beat Borger in 3-sets on Saturday in 4-4A volleyball. The Lady Herd move to 5-7 in district play……The Herd fell to Randall, 24-0, in district football on Friday night.
