Upper level ridging grips the region through the weekend before rain chances and cooler temps return early next week……Registration deadline for the final Ogallala Commons Playa Field Day is this Saturday, October 11th. The field day is set for next Tuesday, October 14th, in Bushland. It will feature several speakers and tours to a playa and warm season grass trials. Patsy was a longtime Hereford resident who died last Thursday in Amarillo……Funeral services for Ashley Martinez, age 34, are tomorrow at 11:00 at Good News Church. Visitation is today from 6:00-8:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Ashley was a former Hereford resident who lived in Dimmitt.
