Light rain continued to fall through publishing time……The Lady Herd fell to Canyon in district volleyball last night in three sets. Hereford is 3-6 in district play and now sits three games back from 4th place Dumas, who beat Perryton last night. The Lady Herd travels to West Plains on Saturday……Funeral services for Ashley Martinez, age 34, are Friday at 11:00 at Good News Church. Ashley was a former Hereford resident and is remembered as a bright, creative soul whose warmth and humor filled every room. Visitation is tomorrow from 6:00-8:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. She died on Friday……Funeral services for Patsy King Fowler, age 84, will be tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 at Avenue Baptist Church. Patsy was a longtime Hereford resident and is remembered as a loving family woman. Visitation is today from 6:00-8:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.
