LOCAL: Hereford fell to Randall in 4-4A volleyball last night at Randall High School. The Lady Whitefaces took Randall to their first 5-set-match of the district season with scores of 26-24, 27-29, 25-20, 6-25 and 9-15. Lilly Madrigal had 22 digs, 16 assists, 7 kills and 3 aces. Lexi Vallejo added 18 digs and 9 kills. Hereford is 3-4 in league play and begins the second half of district action on Saturday in Dumas……Funeral services for Cynthia Ann Easterwood, age 64, are tomorrow at 10:00 at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel. Cynthia was raised in Hereford and was a 1979 HHS grad. She obtained a degree in interior design from Texas State Technical Institute and an art degree from WTAMU. She had recently moved back to Hereford from Tennessee. She died on Sunday in Hereford……U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson introduced the Agriculture Infrastructure Stability Act yesterday, which would prompt the USDA’s Federal Crop Insurance Corporation to develop policies to help cotton producers.
