LOCAL: The Herd is road tripping today to the northeastern Panhandle where they’ll take on the Perryton Rangers in a pre-district football matchup. Both Hereford and Perryton are 1-2 on the season. Perryton is coming off a 28-21 loss to Randall last week and the Herd off their loss by two to Plainview. KPAN AM-FM will have live coverage from Ranger Field at 6:45. Pre-game programs begin at 5:45 this afternoon……The Elks Lodge is holding a Fall Vendor Fair tomorrow from 10:00-3:00 at the lodge in Hereford. The event will feature two dozen local vendors with a variety of offerings and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Elks Sweetheart philanthropic cause of kids with special needs……The Lady Herd and the Lady Harvesters of Pampa are on the court tomorrow at 12:00 for a district volleyball game in Pampa. Visitation is today from 11:00-1:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home……HHS grad Taytum Stow surpassed the 500 career block milestone in college volleyball this week.
