LOCAL: HISD Board of Trustees meet in a regular session this evening at 6:00 for a 16-item agenda. They’ll recognize longtime Board member David Fanning, and recognize several Hereford High School programs among the items. The meeting is at the Administration Building and is open to the public……Xavier Sauceda and Aiven Martinez shot rounds of 61 and 62, for a two-day 123, to win the 11th Annual Elks Madness this past weekend. They were six shots ahead of 2nd place finishers J.C. Casarez and Art Diaz……HHS student athlete Cristian Jaime was named to the Academic All-State – Honorable Mention Team for Track & Field last week……Volunteers are needed this Friday, May 23rd, to place flags at the graves of veterans in local cemeteries. Lists of veteran graves and bundles of flags will be distributed at 7:30 at West Park Cemetery on Friday morning……Season ticket renewal is open for the 2025 Herd Football season. Current season ticket holders can visit their Hometown Ticketing account to renew through June 6th.
