LOCAL: Hereford City Commissioners will meet in a regular session this evening at 6:30 at City Hall. They’ll work through a 12-item agenda that includes green fee and cart rental increases for most patrons at John Pitman Golf Course, approval of an incentive package through the HEDC for Mungia Sports Complex, and discuss a report from Parkhill regarding wastewater treatment ponds among the items. The meeting is open to the public……Lady Whiteface Track placed 2nd in Friona last week. Gold medal winners were Azlyn Zallar in shot put and Jaelynn Rodriguez in the 800m……Brix Machen set a new school record in the high jump and took home a gold with a 6’8” in Plainview last week. Izak Dominguez placed 1st in the 110m & 300m hurdles at the Bulldog Relays……Funeral services for Juan De La Cruz, age 87, are tomorrow morning at 10:00 at San Jose Catholic Church. Visitation is today from 6:00-8:00 at Lighthouse Funeral Home in Amarillo. Juan died on Tuesday……Funeral services for Maria Quintana De Ramirez, age 78, are Wednesday at 10:00 at San Jose Catholic Church. Viewing and visitation is tomorrow from 10:00-8:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home……Election Day is tomorrow with four polling locations open in Hereford from 7:00-7:00.
