The Lady Herd lost, 0-6, to the West Plains Lady Wolves. The boys followed and dropped the district match, 1-4. Jose Berlanga was the lone goal-scorer for the Herd in the loss. The Whitefaces remain at the bottom of the district standings with an 0-10 league record……Funeral services for Thomas “Tommy” Garcia, age 55, are Thursday at 10:00 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Viewing is today from 2:00-8:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Tommy was a lifelong Hereford resident who died on Friday in Amarillo……Funeral services for Josef “Joe” Grotegut, age 92, are Saturday at 10:30 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Umbarger. Visitation is Friday from 6:00-8:00 at Mendez and Mullins.
