LOCAL: Early voting ahead of March’s primary election begins today at the Deaf Smith County Courthouse. Voting hours this week will be 8:00-5:00 each day; 7:00-7:00 on Saturday; 7:00-1:00 on Sunday; and 7:00-7:00 each weekday next week. The only polling location in early voting is the Deaf Smith County Courthouse in downtown Hereford……The Seminole Maidens beat Hereford in the bi-district playoff round, 56-35, yesterday at Frenship High School. Mia Gomez, Arissa Alaniz, and Kadynce Ramirez each had 6 points for the Herd. KPAN will have live coverage of the Hereford and Canyon district game……Funeral services for Marcella Blue Bradly, age 97, are Saturday at 10:30 at the First Methodist Church. Marcella was a lifelong area resident and was the Salutatorian for the HHS Class of 1945. She and husband, Bill, owned and operated Bill Bradly Photography Studio from 1962 to 1989. She taught piano and was a member of the Veleda Study Club and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Marcella died on Saturday in Friona……Wind gusts are expected to reach 65 mph today in the Hereford area. The windiest window is favored between 11:00 this morning and 3:00 this afternoon.
