LOCAL: The Deaf Smith County Grand Jury indicted 11 persons to stand trial on felony charges last Wednesday, February 11th. Charges included driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, felony assault, possession of a controlled substance between 4-200 grams with intent to deliver, and evading arrest with a motor vehicle……The Lady Herd are on the road to Frenship High School today where they’ll take on Seminole in the bi-district playoff round of basketball. Tipoff between the Lady Whitefaces and Lady Indians is set for 5:30. KPAN AM-FM will have live coverage beginning at 5:20 this afternoon……The Herd fell to Dumas on Friday night in district basketball, 46-49. Kade McPherson and Brix Machen led the Whitefaces with 8 points each. They’re at home in the season finale tomorrow at 6:00 against Canyon……Tomorrow is anticipated to be a critical/extreme day for fire weather conditions.
