Mr. Hernandez was a longtime Hereford resident who was a mechanic for many years. Carmen enjoyed family time and especially cherished playing with his grandchildren. He died last Saturday in Amarillo……Funeral services for Mike “Strawberry” Wilson, age 76, are tomorrow at 10:00 at the Hereford VFW. Mr. Wilson was a lifelong Hereford resident and served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He worked at Deaf Smith Electric for 36 years after returning home from the war. Mr. Wilson’s greatest joy in life was his family. He died last Thursday in Amarillo……KPAN AM-FM will have live coverage of district basketball from Dumas tonight.
