LOCAL: The Hereford Senior Citizens Center and Coffee Memorial Blood Center are hosting a blood drive form 2:00-7:00 this afternoon at 426 Ranger St. Graduating seniors who donate will be entered to win 1 of 4, $1,000 scholarships, that can be used at most universities, community colleges, and trade and technical schools. Visit obi.org for more information……The Whiteface Booster Club is holding an informational meeting and membership drive at the Civic Center tonight from 6:00-8:00. The Booster Club supports Herd teams with gear, cookouts and events. The meeting is open to the public……Funeral services for Alfredo “Freddie” Rincon, age 71, are tomorrow at 10:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel. Freddie was a longtime area resident and worked for 30 years as a truck driver with Cantrell Trucking. He enjoyed gardening, drinking coffee with his wife, Linda, and spending time with his grandchildren. Viewing and visitation is today from 5:00-8:00 at Mendez and Mullins. Mr. Rincon died on Monday……Funeral services for Carmen Hernandez, age 60, are Friday at 10:00 at San Jose Catholic Church. Carmen enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
