LOCAL: Merry Christmas from the KPAN Krew……The Lady Raiders beat #15 Baylor in basketball for the first time since 2011 on Sunday. It was the first time since 2004 that Tech beat the Bears in Waco as well……The Cowboys and the Commanders hit the gridiron for a Christmas Day edition of NFL Football tomorrow. Dallas and Washington are out of playoff contention so the division game will be played with no post-season implications. KPAN AM-FM will have live coverage with pre-game beginning at 11:00 ahead of the 12:00 kickoff……Funeral services for Phil Phipps, age 82, are Saturday at 11:00 at the Nazarene Family Church. Visitation is Friday afternoon from 5:00-7:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Mr. Phipps died on Saturday in Friona……Monday and Tuesday both saw new record high temps for Hereford at 80° and 81° respectively. Those blew through the 75° previous marks. Today will be a closer contest as the current record sits at 78° from 1955.
