A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Parmer, Castro, Swisher, Deaf Smith, Randall, Oldham and Potter counties……The Lady Whitefaces host the #1 Canyon Lady Eagles in district basketball play tonight at Whiteface Gym. Both teams are 1-0 in district play. Tipoff is set for 6:00 and KPAN AM-FM will have live coverage……Hereford High School sent two teams to the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Performance Racing Institute National Championships, in Indianapolis, last week. Team Motive Gear took 9thplace overall and team SCAT came in 17th. Approximately $200,000 in scholarships were awarded to the team members: Jorge Salazar, Christopher Ortiz, Manuel Carrizales, Leonardo Pena, Diazany Lopez, Shilow Rodriguez, Valori Porter, Luis Chavarria, Ethan Perez, Hailey Hernandez, Avery Palacios and Jesus Lopez……Deaf Smith County 4H’er, Johan Grotegut, has been named to the 2026 Texas 4H Congress Youth Leadership Team……KPAN will have live coverage at gametime of the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
