LOCAL: The Christmas Stocking Fund has been propelled to the upper echelon of fundraising numbers for two years running now with the help of an anonymous $35,000 donation. For the second time a Secret Santa has given the large sum to assist the less fortunate in Hereford and Deaf Smith County. The 2025 campaign total sits at $75,840 as of yesterday afternoon……Herd Wrestling had 9 podium finishes at Canyon High School this past weekend. Layla Ortiz and Domonique “Big Mo” Rodriguez both placed 1st. Several wrestlers placed 3rd including Marina Juarez, Izabella Lopez, Yaqueline Arambula, O’shyn Alonzo, Sophia Ceballos, Jimmy Garcia and Zane Montelango……Graveside services for Jan Glenn, age 83, are Saturday at 11:00 at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo. Jan was a lifelong area resident and worked in real estate, oil and gas and banking before retiring in 2014. She would join the Colonial Funeral Home team after retirement working alongside her son and daughter-in-law. She was especially fond of being a grandmother.
