LOCAL: HISD choral programs will perform a Very Merry Christmas Concert tomorrow afternoon at the high school. HJH and HPA programs will begin at 1:00 in the auditorium at Hereford High, and high school groups begin at 3:30. The concert is open to the public……The Hereford Elks Lodge will host the local portion of the Elks Hoop Shoot – National Free Throw Contest, on Sunday at the junior high. The free throw contest is open to 8-13 year old boys and girls and is free. Proof of age must be provided and the contest begins at 1:00 in the double gym at Hereford Junior High……Hereford ISD Board of Trustees are meeting on Monday evening at 6:00 in a regular session. They’ll look to establish and fund a Hereford ISD Art Competition and Scholarship Program among 13-items in the agenda. The meeting is at the Administration Building and is open to the public……Hereford City Commissioners are also meeting on Monday for a 13-item agenda. They’ll hear a report from the HEDC and consider funding infrastructure upgrades to the City Farm.
