LOCAL: The Hereford ISD Board of Trustees are meeting in a regular session at 6:00 today at the Administration Building Board Room. The board will work through a lengthy, 13-item, agenda. They’ll look at appointments to the School Health Advisory Committee and the Local School Library Advisory Committee among the items……Deaf Smith County Commissioners meet tomorrow morning at 9:00 in a regular session at the courthouse. Commissioners will look to approve a shredder purchase and discuss surplus weapons among the ten-tabbed-items. The meeting is open to the public……Funeral services for Doña Julia Grajeda, age 87, are tomorrow at 11:00 at San Jose Catholic Church. She’s remembered as a loving family woman. Viewing is today from 4:00-8:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. She died on Friday in Hereford……Dumas cruised to a 38-10 win over the Whitefaces in district football Friday night. Hereford falls to 1-2 in district play and will face a 1-2 Canyon High team this Friday night……The Lady Herd fell to Randall in 5-sets in district volleyball Saturday and their season would come to an end in the loss. It’s the second 5-set game Hereford and Randall, the district champs, played this season.
