LOCAL: Hereford City Commissioners will meet in a special session on Monday afternoon for a 9-item agenda. A public hearing for a rezoning request at East 15th and Blackfoot, considering approval of a waste fee increase and a report from the Hereford Economic Development Corporation are among the tabbed items on the agenda. The meeting begins at 4:00 at City Hall and is open to the public……Ogallala Commons will hold a Local Food Producers Field Day on Wednesday, July 23rd, beginning at 8:00 at the Randall County Extension Office. The day features a look at high tunnel vegetable and flower production, pastured poultry and egg production and tour of the Panhandle Meat Processing facility. Gilbert had lived in Hereford for a short time. He died last Wednesday in Hereford……Funeral services for Marn Tyler, age 96, are tomorrow at 10:00 at the Nazarene Family Church. Visitation is today from 4:00-6:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home……Graveside services for Gary Lemons, age 72, are tomorrow at 11:00 at Restlawn Cemetery.
