LOCAL: The Amarillo DPS office conducted a multi-agency – human trafficking investigation that resulted in two felony arrest this week. The office collaborated with Homeland Security Investigators and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations targeting three local massage parlors in Randall County. Zhi Zhi Luna, age 60, of Amarillo, and Zhen Li Parr, age 56, of Amarillo, were both arrested on felony promotion of prostitution charges. The investigation is still pending and additional charges may be pending……Funeral services for Violet Jane Kelley, age 88, will be Saturday at 2:00 at Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Violet was a longtime Hereford resident and retired as the Cafeteria Manager for HISD. She was famous for her cinnamon rolls. Viewing is Friday from 12:00-5:00 at Parkside Chapel. She died on Monday in Hereford……Funeral services for James Warner Lawson III, age 66, will be at 10:00 at the Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall, TX, on Friday, August 8th.
