LOCAL: U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Brooke Rollins, announced a timeline for re-opening ports to cattle, bison and equines from Mexico yesterday. The first will be in Douglas, AZ, as early as Monday. Ports in Texas are scheduled for August and September open dates. The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has evaluated the coordinated response against the NWS and found trade can begin……The Deaf Smith Chamber of Commerce will host Party in the Park tomorrow to celebrate Independence Day. The 4th of July celebration begins with a parade at 10:00 along the normal route, vendor booths in Dameron Park beginning at 12:00 and a live performance by Insufficient Funds from 6:00-9:00. The day ends with a fireworks show at the park.
