LOCAL: KPAN recorded .89 of an inch of rain at 7:00 this morning in downtown Hereford. Rainfall totals to note from Mesonet sites over the last 24-hours include 2.1 inches of rain at Texline, 1.37 inches of rain at Vega, 1.27 at the Hereford site northwest of town, .81 inch of rain in Dimmitt, .73 of an inch at Bootleg, .69 inch at Adrian and .43 of an inch in Umbarger. A similar setup is in-store today with heavier amounts favoring the western Panhandle……Deaf Smith County Commissioners are meeting in a regular session this morning at 9:00. They’ll work through a 7-item agenda that includes pavement repairs around the county and a budget amendment among the items……The city’s Baseball/Softball Complex Advisory Board will meet in a regular session this evening at 6:00 at the Civic Center. The Board will work through a 5-item agenda that includes promotion ideas for the ballpark. The meeting is open to the public……An All American Blood Drive is set for this afternoon from 2:00-7:00 at the Hereford Civic Center. Donors will be entered in a drawing to win tickets to an Amarillo Sod Poodles game. The blood drive continues again tomorrow from 2:00-7:00 as well.
