LOCAL: The Hereford Kiwanis Club celebrated their 75th Anniversary on Saturday. The club was founded in June of 1950 and the first meeting was held in the ballroom of the Jim Hill Hotel. R.C. Hoelscher was recognized with the club’s Legacy Award, recognizing 56 years of service to the club……Deaf Smith County Grand Jurors indicted eight persons to stand trial on felony charges last Wednesday, June 18th. Among the felony charges were failure to register as a sex offender, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and aggravated assault……Hereford ISD Board of Trustees meet tonight in a regular session for a 12-item agenda at 6:00. The Board will look to approve several roof repairs across the district and review staff pay for the upcoming school year. It’s at the Administration Building and is open to the public……Gov. Greg Abbott vetoed Senate Bill 3 last night, prior to the end of day deadline to veto or sign any remaining legislation.
