Applications are available now at the HCAL Campus for current students and staff……The Amarillo DPS Office reported another fatal accident on Panhandle roads that occurred late Sunday night near Dalhart. Yobani Cardova-Hernandez, age 27, of Dalhart, was traveling northwest in the southeast bound lane of US 87 at 11:52 Sunday night when he struck a 2018 Freightliner head-on. The semi-truck and the 2014 Chevy Impala that Cardova-Hernandez were driving caught fire. The driver of the Freightliner was taken to Coon Memorial with serious injuries and Cardova-Hernandez was pronounced deceased at the scene……Coffee Memorial Blood Center is offering a chance to win a Family 4Pack of Sod Poodles tickets to blood donors during their All American Blood Drive. They’re in town next Tuesday and Wednesday, June 24th and 25th, from 2:00-7:00 each afternoon at the Hereford Civic Center. Donors also receive a t-shirt and a Wonderland WOW ticket……A cold front pushed through the region yesterday with northerly winds following in its’ wake.
