LOCAL: A multi-state, joint one-day enhanced enforcement operation is underway today focusing on Move Over or Slow Down laws. Texas Troopers will have an increased presence on roadways today focused on drivers violating the law. It requires drivers to change lanes or slow down to at least 20 mph below the posted speed limit for emergency vehicles with lights activated……HISD will present a program tomorrow on the availability of federal services for eligible private-non-profit schools, and non-profit home schools located within the district’s boundaries. The meeting begins at 8:30 in the morning on Thursday, May 15th……Deaf Smith County Juvenile Board meets tomorrow in a regular session for a short, 2-item, agenda. The meeting is in Room 200 at the courthouse at 10:30 tomorrow morning……Vendor and event registration is open for the 9th Annual DadFest Car Show and Parade. The event is the Friday and Saturday of Father’s Day Weekend, June 13th and 14th.
