LOCAL: L’Allegra Study Club is taking pre-orders for their annual plant sale until Tuesday, April 22nd. The plant sale will only feature pre-orders this year as Lonestar Home and Garden has closed their retail side of the business. Plant pick up day is May 8th and will feature a cheeseburger lunch at Lonestar from 11:00-1:00. Proceeds from this year’s plant sale benefit the Khuri Foundation at HRMC and the John Bunch Complex. The Herd are 5-5 in district play with four games remaining… Funeral services for Ramiro “Medo” Luz Garcia, age 56, are this morning at 10:00 at Genesis Church. Ramiro was a longtime Hereford resident and had owned and operated his own trucking company, G&M Trucking. He’s remembered as a loving family man. He died on Thursday in Hereford…Funeral services for Nancy Josserand, age 90, are Saturday at 11:00 at the First Methodist Church. Nancy was a longtime Hereford resident and very active in the local and regional communities. Visitation is Friday from 5:00-7:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.
