The Red Raiders are returning to the 3rd round of the Big Dance for the first time since 2022……Visitation for Sam Curtsinger, age 77, is today from 6:00-7:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Sam was a lifelong Hereford resident who died on Monday in Hereford……Funeral services for Vel Esqueda Cantu, age 79, are tomorrow at 10:00 at San Jose Catholic Church. Vel was a longtime Hereford resident and drove a bus for HISD for 39 years. She died on Friday in Amarillo……The John Bunch Complex Grand Opening celebration is this Saturday, March 29th, beginning at 10:00. Ballgames will be played and festivities will take place throughout the day……Leobardo Delgadillo, age 31, of Friona, TX, died in a single-vehicle-accident Monday afternoon just southwest of Friona. Mr. Delgadillo was traveling in a construction zone on US 60 just after 2:30 PM, when he struck a stack of retaining walls.
