LOCAL: Hereford City Commissioners will meet for a special session this evening at 6:00 at City Hall. They’ll discuss a 4-item agenda that includes a tabbed executive session to discuss personnel matters. The meeting is open to the public……The Deaf Smith County Grand Jury met on Wednesday of last week and indicted 9 persons to stand trial on felony charges. The list included failure to register as a sex offender, possession of a controlled substance between 4-200 grams with intent to deliver and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon……Funeral services for Kenneth Hagar, age 75, are Friday at 10:00 at the First Baptist Church. Visitation is Thursday from 5:00-7:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. He died on Saturday……Funeral services for Alice San Miguel, age 63, are Friday at 2:00 at the Hereford Senior Center. Alice was a lifelong area resident and lived in Hereford for many years. She worked in medical care and was a graduate of Clovis Community College in 2001. She died on Saturday……Approximately ¼ inch of snow fell in Hereford in the 24-hours leading up to 7:00 this morning.
