The Lady Whitefaces have played sharp since the play-in win over Dumas but will face their biggest challenge since then in the Lady Eagles. First serve is at 6:30 at Childress High School and KPAN AM-FM will have live coverage with pre-game at 6:20……Deaf Smith County Commissioners meet tomorrow morning at 9:00 for a 10-item agenda. They’ll continue discussion on renovations at the Bull Barn and canvass the 2024 election results among the items. The meeting is open to the public at the courthouse……Funeral services for Susan Perrin, age 76, are Wednesday at 11:00 at the First Presbyterian Church in Amarillo. Susan worked at Hereford Junior High for many years and then she and her husband, John, opened and owned and operated Beef Capital of the World Fine Meats. She died on Tuesday in Amarillo……KPAN recorded an additional .12 inch of rain on Saturday morning from Friday’s showers.
