LOCAL: A strong cold front invades the area today and will drop temps to freeze and frost warning ranges. Hereford could very well see its first freeze of the year early tomorrow morning when temps are predicted to be at or just above the 32° mark. An active weather week continues with a Pacific Northwest trough impacting the region with precipitation chances beginning on Friday……The Lady Whitefaces fell to Randall last night in the district volleyball finale, 25-21, 18-25, 12-25 and 18-25. London Baker recorded a triple-double with 17 digs, 16 assists and 10 kills. Madi Madrigal had a double-double in the match with 10 digs and 10 assists. Hereford will play Dumas in a TBA game for the fourth and final playoff spot from district 4-4A……Funeral services for Mario Juarez Rodriguez, age 74, are tomorrow morning at 10:00 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Mario enjoyed working on his cherished 1972 Nova and 1977 Chevy Pickup. He enjoyed music and dancing, but most of all spending time with his family. Viewing is today from 1:00-8:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.
