LOCAL: Hereford City Commissioners will meet for a 16-item agenda at 6:30 this evening at City Hall. They’ll hear public comments on the proposed $14.2 million budget and look to approve that ahead of the start of the next fiscal year on October 1st. The meeting is open to the public……The Homecoming Parade is set for this evening at 6:00. The parade runs the normal route from HHS to downtown Hereford……Lady Whiteface Volleyball opened district play with a 4-set-win over Dumas on Saturday; 25-21, 25-20, 23-25 and 25-15. London Baker led the offense with 18 kills and Madi Madrigal added 28 assists for the Lady Herd……Herd Tennis dominated the Demons on Saturday morning, 16-3. They’re 3-4 in district and will be on the road to West Plains tomorrow afternoon……The Whitefaces kept their record clean with a 26-16 win over Plainview on Friday night. Tell Bryant had a 100+ yard game and 2 TDs and Brylyn Lopez ran for more than 100 yards for the third time this year. The 3-0 Herd are at home Friday against Perryton for Homecoming……Record highs were set Friday when KPAN’s thermometer reached 100° and again Saturday when it reached 99°.
