LOCAL: Purina of Hereford recently donated $25,000 to the Humane Society of Deaf Smith County Second Chance [Animal] Shelter. The donation will be used toward spay and neuter surgeries for animals going out on adoption……The HSDSC is holding a low-cost, drive-thru shot clinic from 1:00-4:00 at the parking lot of Sugarland Mall tomorrow. They’re offering rabies, parvovirus and the 3-way viral for cats with no appointment needed. Cats should be kenneled and dogs leashed and muzzled if needed……The Herd are at home for the final time on Senior Day this afternoon against Borger in district baseball. It’s a must-win game for the 6-7 Whitefaces as Perryton sits at 6-7 heading into the final game of the regular season as well. KPAN AM-FM will have live coverage at 4:50 this afternoon from Whiteface Field……Great Plains CASA for Kids is holding their annual hamburger fundraiser today from 11:00-1:00 at the office at 313 Lee.
