LOCAL: Last week the McDonald’s Corporation handed out the Global Ray Kroc Award to the top 1% of General Managers worldwide. Hereford’s store GM, Wesley Gaffney, was among the 398 winners from across the world to be presented with the highest honor in the company. Wes was treated to a trip to Spain to accept the award by McDonald’s. A come-and-go congratulatory celebration is set for tomorrow morning at 9:30 at the Hereford McDonald’s on Highway 60. The public is invited……The 4-8 Lady Whiteface Softball Team is on the road to Randall this afternoon for a district game against the 6-6 Lady Raiders. Randall is tied with Canyon for 4th place in 4-4A play. First pitch is set for 4:30 and KPAN AM-FM will have live coverage at 4:20 with Tom Simons on the call……The Herd (4th – district) faces the unbeaten Raiders (1st – district) in baseball action this afternoon at Randall High School.
