LOCAL: Hereford and San Elizario are in the 2nd round of playoff basketball this afternoon at 5:00 in Seminole. San Elizario beat Irvin 55-27 in bi-district, and the Herd is coming off their 12 point win over Seminole. KPAN AM-FM will have live coverage of the Whitefaces and the Eagles with pre-game at 4:45 this afternoon……Great Plains CASA is holding Bingo Night, tonight at 6:30 at the Elks Lodge in Hereford. Play packages start at $45 which get you one card for one five-game-session. Two sessions will be played tonight with additional buy-ins for Blackout as well. Doors open at 6:00 and no RSVP is required. Proceeds will be split 50/50 to the winnings pot and back to GPC operations……The Hereford VFW Post will have a Veterans Resource Fair tomorrow from 10:00-3:00 at the V. More than 30 organizations specific to or offering benefits to Vets and their family members will be on hand. A meal will be available by donation……Early voting continues daily through next Friday, March 1st. Ballots may be cast at the Deaf Smith County Courthouse until 5:00 today, from 7:00-7:00 tomorrow, 7:00-1:00 on Sunday and 7:00-7:00 Monday-Friday of next week……Funeral services for Joe Don Weaver, age 69, are Tuesday at 2:00 at the Southland Baptist Church in San Angelo.
