LOCAL: Early voting for the May 24th Primary Runoff Election continues through Friday at the Deaf Smith County Courthouse. Most notable among the races on the ballot will be incumbent Attorney General Ken Paxton, challenged by Land Commissioner George P. Bush. Early voting hours are 8:00-5:00. Election Day is next Tuesday, voting hours are 7:00-7:00 at the courthouse and Civic Center……The HISD School Board meets in special session today at 5:00 at the Admin Building. They’ll canvass election results from May 7th……Motorcycle fatalities increased by 7% from the 2020 to 2021 reporting periods. In 2021, 519 motorcycle riders died on Texas roadways, and 2,318 riders were seriously injured in crashes. TxDOT’s “Share the Road: Look Twice for Motorcycles” campaign encourages other drivers to be extra vigilant during warmer months and look twice for riders……A 19 year-old Pampa woman died in a single vehicle accident on Sunday night a few miles east of Borger.
