LOCAL: The 2022 Hereford Livestock Show continues at the Deaf Smith County Bull Barn today. The show begins at 9:00 this morning with hogs, heifers, steers, lambs and then goats. The event is open to the public. KPAN AM-FM will have live updates……The Lady Whitefaces came away with a victory over the Lady Bulldogs in Borger last night, 54-36. Miranda Acosta had 13 points in the win. The Lady Whitefaces are 2-1 in district play……The Whitefaces put up a last second effort but fell to the Bulldogs 47-48 in their first district game of the season. Aden Arias had 14 for the Herd, and Noah Brown had 10 points. The Whitefaces are 0-1 in district play……Funeral services for Jaki Tyler, age 68, are today at 2:00 at The Loft Church in Amarillo……Funeral services for Elvie Campbell, age 95, will be Wednesday at 2:00 at the Central Church of Christ. Elvie was a longtime Hereford resident and homemaker. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 3:00-8:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Elvie died on Tuesday in Hereford……Funeral services for Michael Page, age 75, will be Friday, January 28th, at 11:00 at the First Methodist Church. Mr. Page was a former longtime Hereford resident. He died Thursday in Granbury……Funeral services are pending at Parkside Chapel for Donald Ray Busby, age 78. Mr. Busby was a former Friona resident. He died Thursday……North gusts peaked at 51 mph last night at 10:00. After a cold day in the 40’s today, high temps should be near 63° tomorrow.
