LOCAL: The strongest cold front so far this winter is set to cross the area this weekend. The Canadian air mass is forecasted to bring precipitation to the area on Friday and Saturday in the form of light rain and light snow. Temps will be in the teens and single digits overnight on Saturday and Sunday, with wind-chill readings below zero……Funeral services for Geraldine Schlabs, age 89, are this morning at 10:30 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Geraldine was a lifelong Hereford resident and graduated from HHS in 1949. Geraldine died Saturday in Hereford. She was a homemaker……Funeral services are pending at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home for Catherine Lupton, age 94. Catherine died yesterday in Hereford. The family will receive guests at 109 Liveoak.  ……The Panhandle Ag Producers Summit will be at the Hereford Civic Center on Thursday, January 6th. Among the keynote speakers is U.S. Congressman Ronny Jackson of Texas District 13.
