LOCAL: The Panhandle Gives campaign is underway through next Tuesday the 30th. The campaign, which includes 175 area nonprofit organizations, gives back 100% of donations to designated organizations with a percentage match from the Amarillo Area Foundation’s Amplification Fund. Last year, $3,549,329 was raised for nonprofits across the area. Donate at, or at FirstBank Southwest and Happy State Bank in Hereford……Graveside services for Eva McKnight, age 89, are this morning at 11:00 at Palo Duro Cemetery in Wildorado. Eva was a longtime area resident and worked for the Deaf Smith County Sheriff’s Office for many years. She died Saturday in Amarillo……Funeral services for Alejandra Garcia, age 83, will be Saturday morning at 10:00 at San Jose Catholic Church. A Rosary is being held on Friday at 7:00 at Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Alejandra died last Sunday……Funeral service for Bonnie Wuerflein, age 84, will be Sunday at 5:00 at Elmwood Funeral Home in Abilene……The Deaf Smith County Library will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday, tomorrow through Sunday……The Angel Tree for foster children in the area is currently at First Financial Bank. The wish lists will be available through December 10th……KPAN salutes Jordy Collier as the Good Neighbor of the Day……We have roots where others have branches – First National Bank.
