LOCAL: Xcel Energy reported that March had the highest percentage of power from wind energy to date. 51.1% of electricity provided was generated by wind power in March. On April 11th, they hit an all-time high hourly peak production with more than 86% of power supplied generated by wind energy……The 5th Annual Dad Fest Car Show & Cruise kicks off today with a free cookout at the courthouse at 11:30. Tomorrow things get started with the parade at 10:00 along the regular route. Then the car show in the park from 11:00-3:00……The Hereford Bass Club is holding a Father’s Day tournament on Sunday at Ute Lake. Fishing starts at 6:30 Sunday morning and is $25 to register. Billy was a life-long Hereford resident and 1971 HHS graduate……Funeral services for Gloria Garcia, age 74, will be Saturday at 10:00 at San Jose Catholic Church. Gloria was a life-long Hereford resident and 1965 HHS graduate. Rosary service will be held at 7:00 today at San Jose Catholic Church……Funeral services for Julio Pesina, age 90, are at 11:00 Saturday at Parkside Chapel Funeral Directors.
